Few last notes:
- Ticket validation at the door starts at 8:00AM (2LT) till 9:30AM (3:30LT). No one will be allowed afterwards as the venue’s security will not allow anyone into the venue. Please be on time!
- Show your e-ticket for the registration team for cross check and allowed entry to the Ethiopia Science and Technology Museum. You being on the waiting list doesn’t guarantee your entry. ONLY people with tickets will be allowed.
- Bring your laptop with you to attend the parallel technical sessions that are happening in the afternoon.

Disease Detection in Coffee Plants using Computer vision

Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, is said to have the best coffee in the world. Coffee is also Ethiopia's top export product. ☕️

The Fungal coffee disease is a significant factor that have been reducing coffee production and consumption in Ethiopia. The method used for diagnosing fungal disease types  is the observation by the naked eye which can be time-consuming and expensive.

In this challenge, the Omdena Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Chapter team aims to provide a computer-vision based coffee disease detection system, which can disease classification and stress estimation.
