A recently introduced feature, Telegramβs new Group Voice Chats allow users in a group to initiate a common group voice chat for all members. However, users can choose to drop out of the ongoing group chat and re-enter at any given point. To make use of this, head into any group of choice and tap on the group name. Now head to the three-dot menu on the top right and choose Start Voice Chat. However, if you haven't moved beyond the basics, you're missing out on a lot of the best Telegram functionality. Below, we detail some lesser-known features of Telegram that you may have overlooked until now. These new monetization methods include ads on public one-to-many channels (which function like Twitter feeds), premium features for business teams and power users, and paid sticker packs. Some of these funds will go back to users in the form of enhanced visibility for channels or payments to creators of unique sticker packs.
Premium Doubled Limits For power users, scheduling is a great way to achieve many tasks at a given time. We already use email scheduling a lot, but itβs awesome to see Telegram bringing this feature for messages as well. As you saw above, you can schedule a message just by pressing and holding the βsendβ button. Here, choose βSchedule messageβ and pick the date and time. If you do not want this to happen and want Telegram to keep running in the background to send you notifications in real-time, you can head over to Settings/ Notifications and Sounds/ Keep Alive Service and turn it on. Finally, Telegram has brought a list view for search results in chronological order. Earlier, finding something by incessantly tapping on βnextβ was a tiring exercise. Now, you can just search for the term and tap on the βsearch barβ at the bottom to find all the search results in the list view. You can quickly find Premium Stickers from all your packs in a dedicated section of your sticker panel, below 'Recently Used'. Create Channel
Does it ever happen that you send a message, and within a few seconds you find out a glaring typo? Well, there is an edit button to save you on Telegram, but not so much on Twitter. All you have to do is select the message and tap on the βEdit (pen)β icon at the top and you can easily edit the message. However, it will show you an βEditedβ label after you have made the changes. Also, there are no time-bound restrictions for editing messages on Telegram. You can only edit messages up to 48 hours of sending them (forever if the messages are posted in your βSaved Messagesβ chat). Bot API: lets you build programs that use Telegram messages for an interface. You donβt need to have knowledge of MTProto encryption protocol.
