Reminder on messaging apps has been one of the most sought-after features and finally, you can use it on Telegram. Recently, WhatsApp partnered with Any.do to bring Reminders, however, Telegram has implemented this feature natively. Though there is one lingering issue. You can only set reminders in the βSaved Messagesβ section. Type out the task and tap and hold the βsendβ button. Here, choose βset a reminderβ and pick your date and time. Telegram will send a reminder notification just like Google Calendar or other task management apps. While the feature is good, we would have loved it more had it been available for user chats too. System Default (Android) or System (iOS): Matches the theme to your operating system's current mode. To get started, open the Telegram app. Next, go to Settings and choose Appearance.
Custom Theme Telegram Improved Login Flow Group Voice chats Under the Other section, tap Open Links in and then choose a preferred browser from the list.
Self-destruct is a popular feature on Telegram, but it has been limited to the separate βSecret Chatβ option only. However, with the recent update, now you can self-destruct media like photos and videos on normal chats too. Just select a photo or video and then tap on the βtimerβ button. Now, you can choose the time after which the media will be deleted from everywhere. Delete Senderβs Message To save a message from elsewhere in Telegram, tap it, choose Forward, and select Saved Messages to add it instantly. You can also paste text, links, images, and anything else you'd like from other sources. On Android, simply slide out the left menu and choose New Secret Chat to start a new one. On iPhone, open a chat, tap the contact's name at the top, choose More, and then hit Start Secret Chat.
Hide Telegram Profile Photo This is a handy feature for users who want to save disk space. To access it, go to the βSettingsβ, βData and Storageβ, and then tap βStorage Usageβ. You will find four options: keep media on your device for three days, one week, one month, or forever.
