Verbs Classification



📌فعل ها به دو دسته عمده تقسيم مي شوند:

➖افعال کمکى (Helping Verbs)

➖افعال اصلى ( Main Verbs)


📌افعال کمکي:

فرض کنيد يك نفر به شما بگويد:

She can

They must

The Sun will

آيا شما چيزي متوجه شديد؟

💥جواب منفى است
علت اين است که اين افعال، افعال کمکى هستند و به خودي خود معنايي ندارند. اين افعال در ساختار يک جمله نقش مهمي را ايفا مي کنند ولي خود به تنهايى چيزي را به ما انتقال نمى دهند.


💥معمولا افعال کمکي همراه با افعال اصلي به کار مي روند. بنابراين جملاتي که در مثال بالا مشاهده کرديد همگي ناقص هستند و براي کامل شدن به يک فعل اصلى نياز دارند.

📌افعال اصلي :

حال فرض کنيد که همان شخص مجددا به شما بگويد:

We visit.

They go.

She talks.


📌آيا اين بار چيزي متوجه شديد؟
آيا اين شخص توانست با شما ارتباط برقرار کند؟
بلى. دليلش اين است که اين افعال افعال اصلى بوده و به تنهايى معنا و مفهوم را مى رسانند.
اگرچه كه مى توان با افزودن ساير اطلاعات مانند مفعول و يا مثلا قيد جملات را معناى كاملترى بخشيد.

double, twice as, twofold

در اين پست قصد داريم كلماتى مانند 'double', 'twice as', 'three times', 'twofold', 'threefold' و... را در جملات رايتينگ تسك 1 آكادميك بررسى كنيم. مثال هر يك را با دقت بخوانيد و با ديگر جملات مقايسه كنيد:

✅ 'double' (verb)

The number of unemployed people doubled between 2005 and 2009.

✅ 'twice as...as/compared to', 'three times as...as/compared to'

There were twice as many unemployed people in 2009 as in 2005.
Twice as many people were unemployed in 2009 compared to 2005.

✅'twofold', 'threefold' (adjective or adverb)

There was a twofold increase in the number of unemployed people between 2005 and 2009. (adjective with the noun 'increase')
The number of unemployed people increased twofold between 2005 and 2009. (adverb with the verb 'increase')
Try using these forms in your own sentences. Make sure you follow the patterns.
