🇯🇵🤝🇵🇪 — On November 17, 2024 AD, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the Prime-Minister Shigeru Ishiba who is visiting the Republic of #Peru to attend the APEC Summit, visited the Campo Fe de Huachipa Cemetery and offered flowers to the grave of H. E. Mr. Alberto Fujimori, the late Former President of the Republic of Peru and expressed his condolences.

➡️ Beloved by the people of Japan and the Right-wing in Peru, hated by Maoists and Marxist-Leninists (and liberals) of all kinds, Former President Fujimori was indeed a major figure for the relations between the Andean nation of Peru and the State of Japan, as, alongside the fact he was a Nisei, he was the leader of Peru during the 1996 Japanese embassy hostage crisis

➡️ During that crisis, Terrorists from Túpac Amaru Revolutionary Movement (MRTA, a Cuban-backed Marxist-Leninist Terror organization) seized control over the Japanese Embassy in Peru, taking Hundreds of hostages - including personnel of the embassy and Ministers of the Peruvian Government - celebrated the Japanese Emperor Akihito's 63rd birthday, lasting for 5 months. After the raiding of the embassy complex, all terrorists were extra-judicially executed on sight by the Counter-Terror team, without chances of being taken as prisoners.
