Telegram is all about privacy and security, and it isn't beholden to larger companies like Facebook. To edit photos/videos, click on the “attach file” and select a file from the gallery, or capture a new one from the camera. Once you do that, you will see various options to edit the file before sending it. You can crop the picture, adjust colors, exposure, contrast, and add emojis and text to videos. While you can receive/send files irrespective of their type and size, you can disable automatic media download and auto-play media to save mobile data. Then you can choose to mute the chat for various periods of time, or forever. Next, tap Never Share With and then select the people from whom you want to hide your profile.
