Christmas is The Festival Of Disbelievers!

Allāh says in Qur'ān:

وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِاللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا كِرَامًا


“And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity.”
[al-Qur'ān 25:72]

Mujāhid and other than him from the Salaf said that falsehood (Zoor) refers to the festivals of disbelievers.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم.

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever imitates a nation then he is from amongst them.”

[رواه أبو داود]

قال عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه : اجتنبوا أعداء الله في عيدهم.

‘Umar b. al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said: “Avoid the enemies of Allāh during their festivals.” and in one narration with addition “.. for the Wrath of Allāh descends upon them during it.”

Morning and Evening Azkar!

عن عبد الله بن خُبَيْب رضي الله عنه قال: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : «اقرأ: قل هو الله أحد، والمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ حين تمسي وحين تصبح، ثلاث مرات تكفيك من كل شيء».

[صحيح] - [رواه أبو داود والترمذي والنسائي]

عبداللہ بن خبیب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا' قُلْ ہُوَ اللَّہُ أَحَدٌ'اور ' الْمُعَوِّذَتَیْنِ' (قل اعوذ برب الفلق ، اور قل اعوذ برب الناس ) صبح وشام تین مرتبہ پڑھ لیا کرو، یہ (سورتیں) تمہیں ہر شر سے بچائیں گی اور محفوظ رکھیں گی۔

‘Abdullāh ibn Khubayb (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Recite Sūrat al-Ikhlās, Sūrat al-Falaq, and Sūrat An-Nās thrice every morning and evening, and it will be sufficient for you and will grant you protection from everything."
