تفسیر ، سورۃ الھمزہ - آیت 3

اس آیت کے دو مطلب ہیں اور دونوں ہی درست ہیں۔ ایک یہ کہ وہ مال کے جمع کرنے میں اس قدر منہمک ہے جیسے اسے کبھی موت آئے گی ہی نہیں۔ اور اس کا مال علاج وغیرہ کے ذریعہ اس کو موت کے منہ سے بچانے کا سبب بن جائے گا
اس کا طرز عمل بتاتا ہے کہ وہ مال کو موت سے بچانے والا سمجھتا ہے، کیونکہ اتنی عمر ہونے کے باوجود وہ مال جمع ہی کرتا جاتا ہے، نہ اللہ کا حق ادا کرتا ہے نہ بندوں کا۔
ایسا شخص دولت کے نشے میں موت اور اس کے بعد کے انجام کو بھول جاتا ہے اور گمان کرنے لگتا ہے کہ اسے کبھی موت نہیں آئے گی اور وہ ہمیشہ دنیا میں رہے گا۔

اور دوسرا مطلب یہ ہے کہ وہ اس غلط فہمی میں مبتلا ہے کہ اس کا یہ مال و دولت ہمیشہ اس کے پاس ہی رہے گا۔ حالانکہ دولت ایک ڈھلتی چھاؤں اور آنی جانی چیز ہے۔

This verse has two meanings and both are correct. One is that he is so obsessed with accumulating wealth that he will never die. And his wealth will be the cause of saving him from death by means of treatment etc.
His behavior shows that he considers wealth to save him from death, because even though he is so old, he continues to accumulate wealth, he does not pay the dues of Allah or his servants.
Such a person, intoxicated with wealth, forgets death and its aftermath and thinks that he will never die and will live forever in this world.

And the second meaning is that he is under the misconception that his wealth will always remain with him. Although wealth is a fading shadow and something that comes and goes.

🔸عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ
☪عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَزُولُ قَدَمُ ابْنِ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّهِ حَتَّى يُسْأَلَ عَنْ خَمْسٍ عَنْ عُمُرِهِ فِيمَ أَفْنَاهُ وَعَنْ شَبَابِهِ فِيمَ أَبْلَاهُ وَمَالِهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ اكْتَسَبَهُ وَفِيمَ أَنْفَقَهُ وَمَاذَا عَمِلَ فِيمَا عَلِمَ
📚(الترمذی ، ٢٤١٦ - صحيح - قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ)

Translations:

🔸عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ
☪نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا:
آدمی کا 👣پاؤں قیامت کے دن اس کے رب کے پاس سے نہیں ہٹے گا یہاں تک کہ اس سے پانچ چیزوں کے بارے پوچھ لیا جائے:⁉️
🍂اس کی عمر کے بارے میں کہ اسے کہاں صرف کیا،
🌹اس کی جوانی کے بارے میں کہ اسے کہاں کھپایا ،
💰اس کے مال کے بارے میں کہ اسے کہاں سے کمایا
💳اور کس چیز میں خرچ کیا
📒اور اس کے علم کے سلسلے میں کہ اس پرکہاں تک عمل کیا.
📚 (ترمذی 2416)

🔸 Ibn Mas'ud rashi Allahu anhu narrated that
☪the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
👣The feet of the son of Adam shall not move from before his Lord on the Day of Judgement,
❓until he is asked about five things:
🍂about his life and what he did with it,
🌹about his youth and what he wore it out in,
💰about his wealth and how he earned it and
💳spent it upon,
📒and (about his knowledge) what he did with what he knew.
