Hadith Reminder
يروي عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه حديثاً طويلاً أنه ذهب إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فرأى
🔹 إِنَّهُ لَعَلَى حَصِيرٍ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ شَىْءٌ، وَتَحْتَ رَأْسِهِ وِسَادَةٌ مِنْ أَدَمٍ حَشْوُهَا لِيفٌ، وَإِنَّ عِنْدَ رِجْلَيْهِ قَرَظًا مَصْبُوبًا، وَعِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ أَهَبٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ فَرَأَيْتُ أَثَرَ الْحَصِيرِ فِي جَنْبِهِ فَبَكَيْتُ فَقَالَ " مَا يُبْكِيكَ ". فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ كِسْرَى وَقَيْصَرَ فِيمَا هُمَا فِيهِ وَأَنْتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ. فَقَالَ " أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ لَهُمُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَنَا الآخِرَةُ ".
Umar bin al-Khattab (radhi Allahu anhu) narrates a long hadith in which he once went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and saw him
🔹Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was lying on a mat made of palm tree leaves with nothing between him and the mat. Underneath his head there was a leather pillow stuffed with palm fibres, and leaves of a saut tree were piled at his feet, and above his head hung a few water skins. On seeing the marks of the mat imprinted on his side, I wept. He said.' 'Why are you weeping?' I replied, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Caesar and Khosrau are leading the life (i.e. Luxurious life) while you, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) though you are, is living in destitute". The Prophet (ﷺ) then replied. 'Won't you be satisfied that they enjoy this world and we the Hereafter?' "

🔹 نبى ﷺ کھجور کی ایک چٹائی پر تشریف رکھتے تھے آپ کے جسم مبارک اور اس چٹائی کے درمیان کوئی اور چیز نہیں تھی آپ کے سر کے نیچے ایک چمڑے کا تکیہ تھا ۔ جس میں کھجور کی چھال بھری ہوئی تھی ۔ پاؤں کی طرف کےکرے کے پتوں کا ڈھیر تھا اور سر کی طرف مشکیزہ لٹک رہا تھا ۔ میں نے چٹائی کے نشانات آپ کے پہلو پر دیکھے تو رو پڑا ۔ آپ نے فرمایا ، کس بات پررونے لگے ہو میں نے عرض کی یارسول اللہ ! قیصر وکسریٰ کودنیا کا ہر طرح کا آرام مل رہا ہے آپ اللہ کے رسول ہیں ( آپ پھر ایسی تنگ زندگی گزارتے ہیں ) آنحضرت نے فرمایا کیا تم اس پر خوش نہیں ہو کہ ان کے حصہ میں دنیا ہے اور ہمارے حصہ میں آخرت ہے ۔

Best dhikr on Friday
With regard to specific adhkar [on Friday]:
· Sending a great deal of blessings upon the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)
🔹Aws ibn Aws said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
“One of the best of your days is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he died, on it the Trumpet will be blown and on it all creatures will swoon. So send a great deal of blessings upon me on that day, for your blessings will be shown to me.”
❗️They said: O Messenger of Allah, how will our blessings be shown to you when you will have disintegrated? He said, “Allah, has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets.”
📚(Narrated by Abu Dawud (1047), an-Nasai (1374) and Ibn Majah (1085).
Classed as sahih by al-Albani in Sahih Sunan Abi Dawud (4/214); he said: Its isnad is sahih according to the conditions of Muslim. It was also classed as sahih by Ibn Hibban and an-Nawawi.”
